The Council has produced five Working Papers thus far, offering thoughtful articulation -- in plain language -- of the science behind the core concepts of child development, and their implications for policy and practice. Written under the highest standards of scientific review, the Working Papers present rigorous, scientifically accurate information in a format that is accessible and relevant to busy policymakers, opinion leaders, and all non-academics with an interest in understanding what the science shows relating to political, social, and economic investments in support of healthy child development at the earliest stages.
